The team served up a seafood feast at the recent Lunch! trade show at Excel in September and the feedback was excellent!
The menu, created by Chef Steve Walpole, showcased our new Fully Cooked seafood range. Cooked in a high-speed oven, it is ready to eat in under two minutes, giving operators with even the most challenging kitchens an easy-to-prepare seafood solution.
This exciting new range is fully cooked, certified sustainable, and a delicious protein component for paninis, wraps, tacos, salads and more. Within our coated seafood products, we have a new air crisp coating, enabling products to stay crisper for longer.
The menu flavours were a mix of British fusion and classics, including MSC certified Sourdough Fish Goujons in po-boy sliders with Louisiana creole tartare sauce and breaded MSC Fish Bites with minted pea puree, pickled onions, topped with “scraps”. Delicious!
The team had terrific feedback about the taste and flexibility of the new range, and the Sourdough Fish Goujon tacos, with truffle sweet chilli and Asian slaw were a real hit!
